JASON PERRYMAN isn't done just yet. The former national road race champ found his form on Sunday by winning the M & amp; M Pro Cycle sponsored road race on the tough Spring Garden Highway circuit. With spots for the senior national cycling team up for grabs, Perryman made sure he catch the selectors attention with a sizzling ride in the 120 km event, out-sprinting seasoned veteran John Turton to the finish-line. Ten laps into the 16-lap race, Perryman and the evergreen Turton pulled away from the remainder of the field to set up a highly anticipated encounter between the two former national champions. But Perryman easily dispatched the Lens Tec Golden Wheelers veteran in the ensuing sprint on the last lap, comfortably beating Turton at the line in front of the eager fans. Recently crowned national champion Simon Clarke finished third ahead of Jason Forde and Sherwin Logan. Turton's Golden Wheelers team-mate, Sedwin Jones, continued his dominance of the masters division, beating Gregory Austin and Don Stoute to add yet another medal to his prominent season. Caribbean Junior Road Race champion, Mario Forde, was stunned by Darren Matthews earlier in the junior category while Monica Weekes came home ahead of rival Denise Crebbin in the ladies' category. Lens Tec Golden Wheelers juvenile Jamol Eastmond continued his rich form by upending the impressive Russell Elcock while Jair Harris raced to his second successive victory of the season. The Barbados Cycling Union's 2008 season wraps up this Sunday with another M & amp; M Pro Cycle road race on the Spring Garden circuit before the national team leaves for St Vincent to compete in the Senior Caribbean Cycling Championships later this month.
